First DAUIN seminar by prof. Meo
On Feb 21, 2018 at 12:30pm prof. Meo (Emeritus professor) will inaugurate the DAUIN seminar, which are held every third Wednesday of every month and are open to the public inside and outside the university. The title of the seminar is “Dimensions and Implications of the Informatics Revolution”. The seminar will be held in Italian at the Conference Room “Luigi Ciminiera”, in the Control and Computer Engineering Department, Corso Castelfidardo 34/D, Torino.
Seminar “Ethics and Robots” by the PIC4SeR center

PhD Scholarship available!
A 3-year PhD Scholarship (borsa di dottorato) is available to carry out research activities with the Internet Media Group, under the supervision of Enrico Masala. If interested, enquire with Enrico by email if you have any doubt or would like to discuss it in more details, and apply through the electronic procedure by the deadline (Feb 15, 2018 at noon). The Scholarship is supported by PIC4SeR (Politecnico Interdepartmental Center for Service Robotics). With mutual agreement, a temporary scholarship is also available for the period between the admission and the official PhD start time (Nov 2018).

Kick-off of the PIC4SeR center
Wednesday, Dec 6, 2017 in Torino, at 10am the Internet Media Group will participate in the kick-off of PIC4SeR (Politecnico Interdepartmental Center for Service Robotics), in the AULA MAGNA of the Energy Center. Additional information available here.

PhD course “Multimedia Communications” starts in Feb 2017
The PhD course “Multimedia Communications: Technological Advances and Social Implications” is scheduled to start on Feb 3, 2017. All PhD students can participate (including “XXXII ciclo” that started Nov 1, 2016). Three members of our research group (Enrico Masala, Antonio Servetti, Juan Carlos De Martin) will cover all the course topics, as better specified in the course webpage.
